A week-long programme to mark the International Women’s Day was inaugurated by Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA). President AFWWA (L) Anamika Ranjan at Air Force Station Jaisalmer on Wednesday.

Anamika inaugurated the week-long celebrations with a class on computer awareness and precautions against cyber theft and fraud. The Sanginis were also made aware of waste segregation and cleanliness inside the campus.

The week-long celebrations include free health check-up for sanginis, lecture on stress management and competition for best-kept garden inside the station. A visit to the nearby village is also planned to spread awareness about health and nutrition among ladies and small children.
Air Force Wives Welfare Association is a welfare organisation for the wives of all personnel in the Air Force. AFWWA is a forum to exchange ideas, interact and provide innumerable benefits to its members.
