NE DEFENCE BUREAU
AHMEDABAD, OCT 4
For hundreds of young aspirants from Gujarat and Diu, the road from preparation to a career in the Indian Army enters a decisive phase with the Agniveer Clk/SKT Recruitment Rally scheduled for October 12, 2026, at the Taluka Sports Complex, Visapur, Chandrapur district, Maharashtra.
The rally is being conducted by the Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Nagpur, for candidates belonging to 13 districts of Gujarat and Diu Union Territory under the ARO Jamnagar recruitment region. The exercise is aimed at identifying physically fit, disciplined and suitably qualified youth for the Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (Clk/SKT) category.
Who should report and when?
According to the recruitment schedule, candidates from Jamnagar, Porbandar, Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Surendranagar, Kutch, Gir Somnath, Botad, Morbi, Devbhoomi Dwarka and Patan, besides Diu UT, are covered under the rally.
The reporting time is 12.15 am on October 12, 2026.
With the reporting time falling shortly after midnight, candidates are advised to plan their journey well in advance and reach the venue without last-minute confusion.
The recruitment category for the rally is Agniveer Clk/SKT.
Admit card is the first checkpoint
The Army has already sent the rally admit cards to all shortlisted candidates on their registered email addresses on August 10, 2026.
Candidates should log in to the official Join Indian Army website using their registered username and password and download their admit cards.
The admit card should be checked carefully for the candidate’s personal details, reporting instructions and other rally-related information. Aspirants should also ensure that they carry all documents prescribed under the recruitment process and follow the instructions issued by the Army.

A test of preparation, discipline and determination
For young people aspiring to join the Army, a recruitment rally is more than a physical test. It is an opportunity to demonstrate fitness, stamina, discipline, confidence and the ability to perform under pressure.
The physical stages demand serious preparation. Aspirants should therefore approach the rally with adequate rest, proper hydration, disciplined training and a clear understanding of the instructions issued by the recruiting authorities.
Equally important is document preparedness. A candidate who has trained for months should not allow an avoidable documentation or reporting error to undermine that effort.
The Army’s recruitment process is designed to provide eligible youth an opportunity to compete on the basis of prescribed criteria. Candidates are therefore advised to rely only on official Army communications and the Join Indian Army portal for recruitment-related information.
For queries, contact ARO Jamnagar
Candidates requiring clarification regarding the rally may contact Army Recruiting Office, Jamnagar, on:

The recruitment authorities have also urged candidates to remain alert against misinformation and to verify any doubt through official channels rather than relying on unofficial intermediaries.
For Gujarat’s young aspirants, the message is simple: check your admit card, verify your documents, reach the venue on time and give your best.
The rally is not merely another examination date on the calendar. For those who have spent months preparing for the uniform, October 12 could be the day when aspiration meets opportunity.
