Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) on Monday announced enhanced connectivity to several exciting destinations as part of its winter schedule. Effective from 29th October, SVPIA is now connected to the ‘Golden City’ Jaisalmer, the picturesque town of Diu, the historically rich city of Agra, and the stunning island destination of Port Blair.
Indigo Airlines has opened bookings for daily direct flights to Jaisalmer and Diu. This new addition allows travelers to explore the captivating historical sites and beautiful beaches of Diu, as well as experience the allure of the ‘Golden City’ Jaisalmer.
Furthermore, Indigo has resumed operations in the Agra sector, allowing visitors to easily access the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Alliance Air is also expanding its schedule by including Indore as a destination, with direct flights operating thrice weekly. This addition strengthens connectivity within the region.
SpiceJet now offers a daily through flight via Chennai, connecting Ahmedabad to the mesmerizing island destination of Port Blair. Travelers can now experience the white-sand beaches and scenic palm-lined shorelines of Port Blair.
In the international sector, SpiceJet has increased the frequency of its direct flights to Dubai from seven to nine times a week. This enhancement allows passengers more options when planning their travel to this vibrant metropolis.
Singapore Airlines has also increased its frequency, now offering a daily direct flight connecting Ahmedabad to Singapore. Additionally, starting from 1st December, Malaysia Airlines will commence its direct flights to Kuala Lumpur. Passengers will have the convenience of four direct flights per week, opening many exciting destinations in Southeast Asia.
This winter season, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport provides ample opportunities for travelers to celebrate the upcoming new year and enjoy their holidays amidst various festivals and will benefit both business and leisure travellers with increased domestic and international connectivity.
