Tanishq, a jewellery firm and arm of Tata-owned Titan Company, has unveiled a new brand proposition for its wedding exclusive sub-brand ”Rivaah” – Jewel for every tradition.
The new proposition from Rivaah by Tanishq communicates the meaning and significance of every ritual and jewellery the bride wears.
Moreover, the Tata group brand is banking on upcoming wedding season for demand revival.
To mark this, Tanishq launched its digital campaign in Hindi and other regional languages on Friday.
Speaking to media, Tanishq CEO Ajoy Choudhry said the Rivaah brand – A Jewel for every Tradition – has been reinvented as per the feedback given by the in-house research team, which go deep into the tradition and rituals of diverse community across the length and breadth of the country.
Each and every new jewels are intrinsically designed according to the traditions/customs and rituals of the communities.
In India, wedding rituals and jewellery are closely connected and go together.
Every piece of wedding jewellery is a symbol of beautiful rituals that are the soul of a wedding. Understanding this very emotion, Rivaah for Tanishq unveils the new brand proposition of ‘Jewel for every tradition’ for the millennial brides-to-be.

The new campaign film showcases a series of brides from six communities – Punjabi, Bihari, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil and even though the stories showcase cultural diversity inherent to Indian weddings, they sync up to deliver a coherent message – our rich heritage that forms the backbone of our weddings, he said.

We have picked up patterns like Floral motifs, Pine, Chinar, Creepers, Geometric patterns that celebrate the luxuriance of Indian thread work. The new designs under Rivaah exuberates richness with use of unique karigari techniques like- Spring wire, Chandak work, Filgree, Rawa work etc.
