A two-day national conference on bank branch audit was organised by the Ahmedabad branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) so as to update about latest changes in Statutory Bank Audits to its members on Monday and Tuesday, March 14 and 15 here, says a release.
On the first day chief guest was CA Aniket Talati, Vice President of ICAI . He congratulated chairperson of the branch CA Bishan Shah for hosting such national conference where CAs across the Gujarat joined.
On day two, Shamsher Singh Maan, CGM – State Bank of India (SBI), Gujarat Circle, who participated as the chief guest, addressed the members on the importance of statutory audits and role of chartered accountants. He appreciated the CAs for their commitment and dedication despite the pandemic.
He shared his thoughts about the bank branch audit, expectations of the banker. He also assures that there will be full co-operation from their branches to the auditor so the audit can be concluded in an efficient manner.
