AHMEDABAD, MARCH 19
In a first-of-its-kind initiative for the welfare of its staffers, Ahmedabad-based media management and public relations company has introduced work-from-home for its staff while keeping open its office for half a day amidst an increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the country, a top official of the company said.
Saurav Chakraborty, Head of Operations, Setu Media Management Limited said, “Director Rajesh Hingu will hold a meeting after a week to take stock of the impact of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak on his employees and business. Precautions have been taken at its Ahmedabad headquarters and its branches spread over Gujarat in following standard sanitation and hygiene processes.”
The 10-year-old media management firm initiated a work from the home protocol for its employees across the state in response to the evolving Covid-19 situation. This protocol will be effective until March 31. It, however, will maintain minimum strength at the workplace to ensure business continuity.
“However, considering the media requirements in such an unprecedented situation, Setu will continue to provide all essential services to the media and its customers with the help of digital tools to stay connected 24 x 7 without any interruption in its services. The firm is providing health safety training to all its staff through frequent advisories and communication,” Director Rajesh Hingu said.
