President Droupadi Murmu, will be the Chief Guest for the CA Foundation day – Diamond jubilee event in New Delhi, said CA Aniket Sunil Talati, President. ICAI.
“The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has formulated the New Scheme of Education and Training in lines with International Education Standards and National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP). The New Scheme has been formulated after considering the inputs from various stakeholders. It will be released at the hands of President Droupadi Murmu, who will be the Chief Guest for the CA Foundation day event in New Delhi. The New Scheme of Education and Training will come into effect from July 1, 2023 which is celebrated as CA Day,” CA Aniket Sunil Talati added.
The Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI on Thursday announced it will be organizing various events to mark the 75th Foundation Day-CA Day, Diamond jubilee year 2023 here on Saturday. It serves as a momentous occasion to recognise achievements, inspire stakeholders and reaffirm the Institute’s commitment to excellence and professional integrity, says CA Dr Anjali Choksi, first ever Women Chairperson of Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC.
The celebration will commence with a vibrant and invigorating walkathon from Riverfront Walkway Paldi, which will be flagged off by CA Purvi Shah, Triathlete aimed at promoting good health and well-being.
Following the walkathon, there will be a Flag hoisting ceremony at Ahmedabad Branch by Dr Pradhuyaman Vaja, MLA, Kodinar and CA Hiranand Savlani, ED & CFO, Astral Ltd symbolizing the pride in being a part of this esteemed profession and will pay homage to the ideals and principles that guide CA profession and uphold our collective integrity. The institute also organised Financial and Tax Literacy Drives for different stakeholders of society.
Also, as responsible members of society, the CAs have organised a blood donation drive at Ahmedabad Branch and Lokmanya College, Near Shivranjani Cross Roads, Satellite with Rotary Club of Ahmedabad which will provide a chance to them to contribute towards saving lives and making a meaningful impact on the community they serve. There is also Free Diabetes Test and Full Body check-up for its members at concessional rates at the Branch.
Along with the AGM, an Interactive meet cum Felicitation of the Past Presidents, CCMs, RCMs and MCMs of Ahmedabad Branch will be held. Also there will be distribution of plant saplings and bird feeders to members.
After an hectic day of enriching activities, CAs will unwind and revel in the Cultural Evening-Live in Concert through music, dance, and entertainment. This will be an evening to relax, bond, and celebrate the achievements and milestones of the profession.
