AHMEDABAD, DEC 25
FUDX, a new food delivery app, joins the bandwagon in Ahmedabad and plans to go cover other major cities of Gujarat thereafter. It will be formally launched on Monday, said Gunja Patel, Head of State, FUDX Gujarat.
Owned by Niranjan Jain, Jimit Sanghvi, and Meghna Hiravwat, who have vast experience in domestic and international FMGC markets, the app includes features such as options to check reviews, ratings of restaurants and individual food suppliers, and loyalty programmes.
Within 45 days of its launch in Junagadh, FUDX has started getting over 200 orders daily. Ahmedabad is the second city in Gujarat to be served by FUDX and being the metro city the company expects to get good response from tech-savvy foodies.
To a query on street foods, Patel said that the company will also onboard Street Food Vendors on its platform. The company has plans to create a special destination on the app where consumers can discover their favourite street food vendors.
She said at the time of onboarding, Fudx will ensure all vendors are registered with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and possess a Food Safety Training and Certification (FOSTAC) of FSSAI. For FUDX, customers’ safety and hygiene are paramount importance.
The new technologically advanced app does not limit itself to just delivery of food from restaurants. It is equipped and plans to upgrade the entire experience of its customers by taking care of their In-room dining and improving the overall experience of people visiting hotels and resorts. With the penetration of smartphones and the availability of high-speed internet at low cost, India has seen a surge in the delivery of food from restaurants to homes with the use of an app. FUDX steps in Ahmedabad with some out of the box ideas and aims to bridge the seamless experience gap for Amdavadis. Through the use of this app, customers can place an order from multiple restaurants at the same time.
“We are extremely thrilled to be entering the Ahmedabad market with FUDX. Our dedicated team has worked really hard over the past few months to understand what exactly is lacking for the citizens of Ahmedabad and we are proud to come up with FUDX to will transform the entire experience of people. Food delivery is just the beginning. Soon people will also be able to get everyday groceries and medicines delivered to their doorstep as well. Our idea is to offer our customers the best possible rates as compared to the existing competitors without compromising on the quality and experience of customers,” said Gunja Patel, Head of State, FUDX Gujarat.
The Fudx operations will commence in Ahmedabad on Monday. FUDX plans to start Loyalty Programmes for its customers. The program will allow customers to accumulate points through all verticals and redeem them for any product on the FUDX app. It will also facilitate discounts from the affiliates of the company which will be a direct benefit to customers with complete transparency. FUDX has tie-ups with theatres in place, where loyal customers get tickets to access any movie show for the entire month.
“Apart from all the perks and bonuses for customers, at FUDX, we have taken the safety of our customers very seriously and conduct a stringent background check of our delivery employees, especially the ones doing night shifts”, adds Patel.
FUDX will ensure the home delivery of medicines within an hour of placing the orders along with the medical prescriptions as an added service for the senior citizens, Patel added.
