Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra on Saturday took to Twitter to announce that he had tested negative for the coronavirus. Nehra was placed under quarantine on May 5after he came into contact with two COVID-19 patients and CEO of Gujarat Maritime Board Mukesh Kumar had taken over the charge.

Drones pressed into service to spray disinfectants
Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Rajiv Kumar Gupta on Saturday said, “We have started a massive exercise to spray disinfectant in all zones of the city.”
While drones sprayed disinfectants from the air, fire brigade men used snorkels and other vehicles to spray disinfectants on tall buildings and the societies.
