The 19th edition of the Motif TTEC Charity Walk will take place on Sunday, February 21 this year. While its twin purposes of generating health awareness and raising funds through public participation for various NGOs remain the same, the walk will be held virtually this year because of the pandemic situation, a release said.

The Charity Walk started as a fun activity in 2003 but has become an important and highly awaited city event, with thousands of participants each year. It has been highly successful in meeting its objectives through the support of individual contributions and corporate sponsorships. Over the last 18 years, the walk has had more than 78,000 participants and 265 sponsors and helped raise Rs. 8.07 crore for 59 NGOs, the release added.
“With the walk going virtual this year, we feel humbled to see the widespread support and participation of our employees, friends, family, and well-wishers from all 28 states of India and different countries around the world including Australia, Philippines, Canada, United States and many more. We’ve already crossed last year’s registrations and collections and this outpouring of humanity has been overwhelming. We look forward to your continued support” said Kaushal Mehta, vice-president & general manager, India – TTEC.
