The Indian Associations of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (IACTS) is hosting its four-day 66th annual conference in Ahmedabad from Thursday to Sunday, February 6-9 in Ahmedabad. The theme for the Conference is ‘Integrating innovations with Innate Skills,’ said Dr. Dhaval Naik,

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent his message to the conference organizers to reinforce the government commitment to medical academics and innovations, the organisers added.
For the first time, world’s four major associations of Cardiac Thoracic Surgery have joined with this meeting: American Association of Thoracic Surgery (AATS) along with The Australian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons (ANZSCTS) and European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons (EACTS)
In another significant achievement, Dr. Mark Moon, President of AATS and his team will actively participate in a full-day AATS / IACTS Postgraduate course to be held during the Conference.
Many exciting workshops and symposia have been planned during these four days in line with its theme of innovation and skills.
A Simulation Workshop (Japan) on Robotic Surgery – for the first time at (IACTS) – will be held showcasing new frontier of medical science.
An Exhibition Village with on spot mini theatres has been planned for an eminent display of medical technologies from all around the world.
This conference will be an amazing synergy of education and interaction with leading medical luminaries sharing a common platform to discuss, teach and learn.
