Ahmedabad is all set to again host an art extravaganza unlike any it has seen before. Art galleries and artists from across India will participate in The Art Fair at Ahmedabad from Friday to Sunday, April 12h to 14, 2024, at the Sindhu Bhavan Hall on Sindhu Bhavan Road, Ahmedabad – 380059.
Padmashri Biman Bihari Das, Former Principal of Govt. College of Art and Craft, Kolkata & Chairman, AIFACS, New Delhi will inaugurate The Art Fair.
The Art Fair is organised by JS Art Gallery, Mumbai, and International Creative Art Centre (ICAC), Ahmedabad. Its mission is to create an art platform for art viewing and buying and facilitating collaborations and networking amongst art buyers, galleries, dealers, artists, collectors, and art connoisseurs. It will bring all stakeholders in the world of art under one roof, making it a one-of-its-kind event in the city of Ahmedabad. The Fair is accessible to Senior citizens & differently-abled people.
The Art Fair will see the participation of several visual artists from all over the country. They will exhibit and showcase their latest and most famous works ranging from modern and contemporary art including paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, prints, photography, and digital art. The Art Fair is the place to be for curated art viewing and buying artworks directly from the artists. Our curators, Dr. Manisha Sanchihar and Urvashi K have meticulously curated The Art Fair ensuring a diverse and inspiring collection of artworks for art enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
Some of the major art galleries that have confirmed their participation include Eminent Art Gallery (Delhi), Gallery 16 (Delhi), Ops Art Gallery (Delhi), Rabi Art Gallery (Shantiniketan), Inspirit Art Gallery (Udaipur), Arpitam Kala Mandir (Kolkata), Infinity Studio D’ Art (Ahmedabad), Dubai Art Gallery (Dubai).
Some of the participating artists include Shyam Verma, Shobha Verma, Rachna Suri, Manoj Yadav, Rajiv Malayil, BG Sharma to name a few.
