Air Defence Brigade at Vadodara participated enthusiastically with vigour as part of the “8th International Day of Yoga” on Tuesday, June 21.
During the event, Yoga Asanas were performed as per laid down “Common Yoga Protocols” within the unit line & from confines of homes. A total strength of 78 person and 28 families participated in the event adhering to all Covid precautions.
The conduct of the event as part of International Day of Yoga highlights Indian Army’s apt recognition of the importance of the centuries old practice of Yoga as an effective stress busting tool and an alternative fitness regime. The Indian Army encourages its soldiers to learn and adopt various yogic techniques to improve mental concentration and develop a positive outlook towards life.
