While the Indian Air Force continues to provide airlifts for oxygen and vital medical supplies to fight the pandemic, Jamnagar unit of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) and its Sanginis have been wiping out the tears of the sections of the society affected by COVID illness, death of family members or lack of employment, says a release.
As part of this continuous effort, with the aim of dealing with the difficulties and providing necessary assistance to the needy families, AFWWA Jamnagar distributed 500 packets of ration and other essential items at Jamnagar ‘Bombay Drug Bazar’ and ‘Babri Aawas’ on Monday in consultation with the local administration, following all COVID-19 precautions, the release added.
AFWWA was formed on October 28, 1970 as a registered body with the objective of providing assistance to the families of the deceased, disabled, retired and serving personnel of the Indian Air Force.
