Air Marshal Arvindra Singh Butola, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Training Command, Indian Air Force has visited Air Force Station, Avadi on Tuesday.
He was briefed by Air Officer Commanding on all the maintenance and training activities being conducted at the station. During his interaction with air warriors, Air Marshal Butola stressed upon the proactive role of instructors in moulding young trainees into trained professionals to competently handle new-generation vehicles. He urged the personnel to maintain a deep learning curve and develop the habit of continuous learning so as to be relevant, effective and operational.
The Air Marshal complemented the station personnel on maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and expressed his satisfaction over the improvement in quality of life of personnel at the station. He also visited the domestic facilities to take stock of the living conditions as part of welfare measures, a release from Defence PRO said.
