Agurchand Manmull Jain College marked a momentous occasion on Saturday as they celebrated their 52nd College Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed Chief Guest Vijay Chordia, President of the Hindustan Chamber of Commerce, and distinguished alumnus of AM Jain College – 1975. In attendance were dignitaries, including Secretary Udhan Kumar Chordia, Associate Secretary Hemanth P. Chordia, Principal Dr B Mahavir, Former Principal Dr N Venkataramanan, Dean Dr MM Ramya, and members of the Management Committee.
Medals and certificates were awarded to students who secured top positions in the semester University exams across various subjects. In total, 440 students were recognized for their academic excellence, receiving subject-wise and department-wise 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. Additionally, 127 staff members were commended for their dedication and commitment to producing exceptional results.
The celebration also included the presentation of overall and individual championship trophies to sports winners. 25 students were honoured with overall championship trophies, highlighting their remarkable achievements.
Adding vibrancy to the occasion, cultural programs were performed by the college’s Arts & Cultural team, captivating the audience with their talent and creativity. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Vice Principal Dr. B. Mahavir.
