AHMEDABAD, DEC 14
The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) Committee has decided to operate conductor-less in AMTS buses. As a pilot project, the AMTS has decided to take up a route — from Vaishnodevi Circle along the SG Road
The chairman of the AMTS committee, Atul Bhavsar said that these buses have only three prices for tickets — Rs 5, 10 and 15 — and hence the driver was sufficient to issue them. Moreover, those who have cards can directly get their tickets from the machine installed in the bus. If the pilot project is successful, the AMTS will think of implementing conductor-less services in other routes.
