Anil Naik Technical Training Centre (ANTTC) celebrated its annual Founder’s Day on Saturday, marking the birthday of the Chairman of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), AM Naik. The occasion holds immense significance for the L&T Public Charitable Trust (LTPCT) family, as they commended the visionary leader for his remarkable philanthropic initiatives that have touched and transformed the lives of so many.
During the event, Atik Desai (Trustee of LTPCT), flagged off the ‘Young Science Leader’ (YSL) programme for 2023-24. Last year, this programme witnessed participation from over 300 schools, making it a resounding success in promoting scientific excellence among the youth.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Gayatri Oleti (Head of Operations at LTPCT), Sanjay Desai (VP & CEO of AM Naik Heavy Engineering Complex [AMNHEC], Hazira), Winny Rawal (CE of ANTTC, LPTCT), Alpa Patel (DGM CSR, AMNHEC), Ratilal Tandel (Principal of ANTTC), Prakirna Rana (Programme Coordinator of Vidyaa, LTPCT), Sneha Raut (Programme Coordinator of NCT), Jitubhai Mehta (Secretary of Kharel Education Society [KES]), Viral Desai (Principal of KVS, KES), Dr Anil Jain (CEO of Nirala Cancer Hospital, Navsari), and Rishi Kapoor (CEO of Nirali Multi-speciality Hospital, Navsari).
ANTTC is a pioneering institution in Gujarat, providing vocational training to school dropouts. Offering 13 comprehensive courses across 7 trades, the Centre aims to uplift and empower young individuals who have faced educational challenges. ANTTC provides these courses free of cost and ensures residential facilities for the students. By equipping them with essential skills and knowledge, the Centre enables them to overcome barriers and achieve success in their chosen fields.
