Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given instructions to the officials to provide financial assistance of Rs 2,000 to the poor who are returning home after completing their quarantine period for buying nutritious food.
Addressing a review meeting here on Thursday, Jagan also ordered the officials to give necessary suggestions about nutritious food like milk, vegetables, and egg etc to be taken after quarantine period.
The Chief Minister made it clear that social distancing should be implemented strictly and special focus should be laid on COVID-19 prevalent areas.
Self Help Groups (SHGs) should be given the responsibility to manufacture masks. As announced earlier, the officials told Chief Minister that three masks for every individual in the state would be distributed from Friday.
The list of beneficiaries under Rytu Bharosa scheme and Matsyakara Bharosa scheme should be displayed in the village secretariats. Rythu Bharosa Kendras should be centric for marketing and the officials should monitor sales and exports of agriculture and aqua products to other states, he said.
Ensure the internet connection and kiosks available in the Rythu Bharosa centers, Chief Minister instructed the officials and to come up with plans for the sale of aqua products.
Deputy Chief Minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas, Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney, DGP Gautam Sawang and Special Chief Secretary Jawahar Reddy were present.
