Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa has on Wednesday announced appointment of Saptarshi Biswas as new General Manager.
A release issued by the Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa said, ‘With his remarkable 19-year journey in the hospitality industry, Saptarshi Biswas is set to lead the resort toward unprecedented heights of luxury and guest satisfaction.’
Saptarshi Biswas has carved a niche for himself in the industry. His tenure includes pivotal roles at The Imperial New Delhi and The Leela Palace New Delhi, before joining the Marriott family in 2014. Throughout his career at Marriott International, he has progressed through several properties, such as JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, The Westin Chennai Velachery, and The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, culminated in his most recent role as Hotel Manager at The Westin Gurgaon.
Originating from Kolkata, Saptarshi Biswas not only brings his extensive expertise in hotel management but also a profound appreciation for diverse culinary traditions.
