Ahmedabad Racquet Academy (ARA) on Friday announced the outstanding performance of its three para table tennis athletes at the recently concluded UTT Para Table Tennis National Ranking Championships 2024-25.
Ahmedabad Racquet Academy (ARA) trained Shital Darjee (Class 5) won gold, Vikas Thakur (Class 6) silver, while Nurjahan Jamani (Class 8) made it to the semi-finals at the UTT Para Table Tennis National Ranking Championship. It was held at Abhay Prashal Indoor Stadium, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
The tournament, held from November 26th to 28th, 2024, at Abhay Prashal, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, witnessed the participation of nearly 260 para athletes from across India. This growing number of participants underscores the increasing interest and participation in para table tennis.
Expressing pride at their achievement, Nilay Vyas, TT Director at ARA says, “We are extremely proud of our athletes’ commitment and aggressive play. Their dedication and hard work have paid off, and we are thrilled to see them achieve such remarkable success.”
