ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) – a joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel, two of the world’s leading steel companies – on Tuesday launched a premium range of cold rolled steel coils and sheets under a new brand called ‘Polar’.
AM/NS India is a leading producer in the cold rolled steel category in India, serving a wide range of key customer segments, including automotive, white goods, construction, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), etc. The company’s proprietary technology has immensely contributed to the design and production of high-quality products, which can be used by customers in a range of industrial products.
The latest offering Polar is a premium range of cold rolled (CR) steel coils and sheets that are produced to meet a variety of applications like drums and barrels, furniture, control panels, transformers, etc. It is available in customisable sizes of coils and cut sheets.

Polar brand products can be purchased through AM/NS India Hypermart, our integrated platform for retail, trade and last-mile sales. Our Hypermart outlets have played a key role in catering to our MSME customers in areas such as fabricators, engineering goods and auto components, giving manufacturers direct access to high-quality and high value-added steel products which they were previously unable to source directly from steel mills.”
