Ashok & Rita Patel Institute of Physiotherapy (ARIP), a constituent of Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), on Monday announced it will provide on-field sports physiotherapy services to players.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, Ashok & Rita Patel Institute of Physiotherapy (ARIP) Principal Dr M Balaganapathy, said, “Aiming to promote sports and help the sportspersons, our institute offers on-field health services at the 11th Urja Cup – Corporate Premier Cricket League (CPCL) being organized by Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCo). The tournament will be held at Reliance Cricket Ground and Motibaug Cricket Ground, Vadodara from Monday to Sunday, February 6-12, 2023. Twenty corporate teams from Gujarat are participating in this tournament of GETCo.”
Dr M Balaganapathy, principal of ARIP, Dr Ratan Khuman, HoD of Musculoskeletal Science, Dr Krishna Vaghela, Assistant professor and Gunjan Shukla, Internee attended the opening ceremony of the tournament, which was held on Saturday at Fairfield by Marriot, Vadodara.
A team of 11 physiotherapists led by Dr P Ratan Khuman along with Dr Krishna Vaghela, students of MPT in Musculoskeletal Sciences and Internees will provide pre-match, during match and post-match on-field sports physiotherapy services during all the matches in both the tournament venue, Dr Balaganapathy added.
