Student officers of the Armed Forces Programme (AFP), at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) and PANACEA OF IIM Ahmedabad organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp inside the Students’ Mess, Old Campus last Saturday, January 5, 2020. The camp was conducted in association with the Ahmedabad Red Cross Society to spread awareness on the importance of regular blood donation.
180 members of the IIM Ahmedabad community came forward to donate blood, in a six-hour long session. It was a indeed heartening to see members from all departments of IIM, Ahmedabad be it security, catering and housekeeping staff over and above the faculty and students from AFP, PGPX, FPM, FABM and PGP, came forward for this noble cause.
Students in AFP and members of the organising team expressed their sincere gratitude to the entire IIM Ahmedabad community for making this event a huge success. Commenting on the event, they said “We were really charged up to take on this event and make it a grand success.
