An idle mind is a devil’s workshop. To keep the quarantined people busy and free from all worries about COVID19, the Army Wellness Facility Centre is offering a host of opportunities for them to play adventure, sports and also offer prayers in Jaisalmer, says a Defence release.
According to the release, the first batch of people from Iran have well settled and was seen playing games like volleyball, badminton, some even tried their hand at soccer. It was an exhilarating sight when people came together to offer prayers inside the Wellness Centre. The solidarity demonstrated by these people amplified their resolve to overcome the challenges presented by COVID-19.
Now, the second batch of 53 Indians who had been evacuated from Iran and had been shifted to Army Wellness Facility Centre at Jaisalmer on Monday morning have also settled down at the quarantine facility. The Army authorities briefed the people about the facilities available at the Wellness Facility Centre as well as the precautions to be taken against COVID-19, the release added.
