Asare, a Joint project of Archana Trust and MAHE, Manipal has been awarded as the Outstanding Institution by the Department of Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka for outstanding contribution to the society.
On 11th February 2021, during a function held at Bangalore, presided by Dr. Uday B Garudachar, the MLA of Chickpet, Bangalore, in the presence of Minister for Women & Child Welfare, Jolle Shashikala Anna Saheb felicitated Asare.
KS Jaivital, President Asare along with Archana, International Swimming Champion and other representatives received the prestigious Award. During the function, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayana CN., Cooperative Minister, S T Somashekara, Minister, Revenue, R Ashoka, and other distinguished guests were present over the function. Dr. V Muniraju, Director, Department of Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizen,s also present.
Vasanti Ramdas Pai, Trustee – MAHE Trust, Dr. Ranjan Pai, Chairman of MEMG – Bangalore, Dr HS Ballal, Pro-Chancellor MAHE, Lt Gen (Dr) MD Venkatesh, Vice-Chancellor, MAHE, and other Officials of MAHE, have congratulated the Trustee and Governing Council members of Asare and wished them to keep continuing the good work for the Society.
