Ashok Leyland, flagship company of the Hinduja Group, on Saturday made a statement of readiness of its BS-VI range of vehicles by delivering their first batch of BS-VI trucks to its customers, ahead of the implementation date of April 1, 2020. This first batch of BS-VI vehicles was delivered in the Delhi-NCR region aligning to the BS-VI fuel availability in the country, a company release said.
Commenting on this feat, Anuj Kathuria, Chief Operating Officer, Ashok Leyland, said “We at Ashok Leyland believe in indigenously developing innovative engine technology and after-treatment solutions that suit Indian conditions. Our new BS-VI iGen6 technology developed in-house is suited for Indian operating conditions. Also, we are introducing our new range of modular trucks that will deliver superior customized solutions to customers.”

For meeting the BS-VI emission standard, the company developed an innovative iGen6 technology that will ensure higher operating profits for customers.
