Newly-launched Gujarat Navnirman Sena on Friday released its manifesto offering slew of measures to resolve all long-pending demands of state government staff, ex-Servicemen, unemployment of youth, farmers and also its first list of 39 candidates for the Assembly polls.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, Gujarat Navnirman Sena national president Atul Dave said, “We are debuting in the Gujarat Assembly polls with full force to provide a strong alternative to the arrogant Bharatiya Janata Party; the Congress, which has played the role of a very weak opposition, and the Aam Aadmi Party, which has been misleading the public with unrealistic promises. We will field our candidates in all 182 seats so that we can form the government of our own without any alliance..”
- To contest in all 182 seats in the larger interests of Hindus
- Announces Rs 3,000 monthly allowance to senior citizens, women
- Will fulfil the demands of ex-Servicemen
- Will withdraw cases filed against Asharam Bapu and other saints
In this election, Gujarat Navnirman Sena has presented its manifesto to give concrete solutions to the issues that really affect the people in their daily lives instead of just showing them promises and dreams.
Atul Dave said that political parties have always betrayed the people of Gujarat and misled them by making false promises. “We will form a separate department for the implementation of our manifesto and turn it into a government document after the Gujarat Navnirman Sena forms a government in the state. We will maintain the sanctity of our manifesto in the next five years,” Dave said after unveiling it.
Party’s state unit president Pujya Sant Kalidasji Bapu announced that it will allot adequate fund for the upkeep of cow and cattle shelters, and suspected cases of killing saints in Gujarat due to political corruption will be re-investigated and false cases will be withdrawn.
Party’s strategist and advisor Vasudev Patel said, “Our 17 promises and 19 resolutions will be the main priority, based on which the development strategy of the people of the state will be prepared. I hope that the people of Gujarat will believe in our honest ideology and make us win with a huge majority. Absolute power corrupts absolutely holds good in the case of BJP’s 27 years of misrule. We will deliver good governance and follow financial prudence by pruning unnecessary expenses which will help redeem the state from dire fiscal straits.”
In the manifesto, the party promised to fill all vacant posts in government and semi-government departments, rooptop solar power facility, better infrastructures in government schools and colleges. And above all, a resolution will be passed to declare Cow Mata as National Mata.
Patel added that if GNS government is formed in Gujarat, party’s state unit president Pujya Sant Kalidasji Bapu will be the Chief Minister and an ex-soldier will be the Deputy Chief Minister.
Gujarat Navnirman Sena State General Secretary Mahesh Chandra Katara and Jitendra Nimavat, president of Gujarat’s ex-Armymen Union were present at the event.
