Counsellor for Australian Border Force (ABF) Ms Jo Prior, on Tuesday called on Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Regional Commander, Inspector General AK Harbola, TM at Gandhinagar. Both of them discussed on the issues of common nature and interests during the meeting, a release said.
The relationship between Indian Coast Guard and Maritime Agencies of Australia especially the Australian Border Force (ABF) has been progressively developing since last decade.
From Ship visits to participation in Exercises, Conferences, Seminars, Cooperation in Training and Multilateral Forums; there has been growing coordination between ICG and ABF. The meeting at Gandhinagar has further highlighted continuing cooperation between two organizations, the release further added.
