The winners and runner ups of the 11 tournaments of the Gulmohar Golfer of the Year were awarded their prizes at a prize distribution ceremony at Midway Cafe in Ahmedabad on Saturday, January 8, says a release.

The Gulmohar Golfer of the Year was played as a part of the Skoda Stellar-Go Golf 2021.

The winners and runner ups were decided based on their points tally throughout the tournament.

Avtar Singh was the winner in the low handicap category, while Mihir Sheth was the runner up.

Michael Weir emerged the winner in the mid handicap category, while Nirav Soni was the category runner up.

Kuldeep Pungalia was the winner in the high handicap category, and Bhavin Vadgama was the runner up.

The winners were awarded the coveted “Claret Jug” and the runner ups the “Silver Plate”.

The launch of the “MP Financial Services-Go Golf 2022” event calendar was also announced on the occasion.

The event calendar comprises the 11 rounds of GGOY 2022, and separate events such as Champion Family, AM/AM, Junior Ryder Cup, All 3s, Gulmohar Stroke Play, Gulmohar Duets, Junior Shootout, Champion of Champions, and Gulmohar Ryder Cup.
