A newly-constructed building of the Army Public School under the Golden Katar Division in Ahmedabad was inaugurated on Friday.
Zonal President of the Konark Army Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA) Lakshmi Sreenivas in the presence of Meenu Shrivastava, Chairperson of Family Welfare Association (FWO) of Golden Katar Division, says a Defence press release.
Followed by the inauguration, the dignitaries went round the school and had interaction with the students.
Army Public School functioning under the administration of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) is providing best of the facilities to the children. The school has a total student’s strength of 2,800 and an ultra modern auditorium with a seating capacity of 500, 52 modern and well furnished class rooms, 8 well equipped laboratories, biggest play grounds and sports facilities, said the School Principal Anitha Sharma.
