Ayekart India’s first full-stack, farm-to-fork digital infrastructure company, has strengthened its leadership bench with the appointment of Vikas Varma as Strategic Advisor – Mentor, a move aligned with the company’s rapid scale-up of technology-enabled agri-food supply chain solutions.
In his advisory role, Varma will work closely with Ayekart’s founding and leadership team to shape its technology-led growth roadmap. His focus areas will span go-to-market (GTM) strategy, commercialisation, strategic alliances, talent and leadership development, business governance, and the creation of resilient, future-ready technology architecture to support Ayekart’s long-term vision.

A seasoned technology and fintech leader with over 30 years of experience, Vikas Varma has led and scaled large digital ecosystems across payments, cybersecurity, fintech, SaaS, and consumer technology. A Fortune 500 technology executive, he has played a pivotal role in driving platform-led growth in India and across South Asia.
During his tenure as Chief Operating Officer – South Asia at Mastercard, Varma spearheaded several of India’s landmark payment digitisation and ecosystem-building initiatives, collaborating closely with banks, fintech companies, regulators and technology partners to expand digital payments and platform-based financial services at a national scale—contributing significantly to the region’s digital financial infrastructure.
