Coast Guard Units in Gujarat celebrated the 8th ‘International Day of Yoga’ on Tuesday, June 21 as a part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ with the enthusiastic participation of Coast Guard personnel and their family members. The events for International Yoga Day were conducted from May 19 to June 21, 2022 at all Coast Guard establishments in Gujarat.
In run up to the International Yoga Day, the Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (North West) conducted practice sessions on May 19 and May 30, 2022. On International Yoga Day -. June 21, 2022, – an enthralling Yoga session with demonstration was held at the HQ.
Similar Yoga sessions were also conducted across all Coast Guard establishments and units in Gujarat in which about 1,500 Coast Guard personnel and their family members participated.
Apart from Yoga Session, activities like lectures, seminars, quiz competitions and awareness drive pertaining to Yoga were conducted in all Coast Guard Units of Gujarat Region.
