INS Valsura organized a 75-km Cycling Expedition part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence. Over 100 Naval personnel and families, including children, participated with great enthusiasm and josh, says a Defence release.
The cycling expedition from INS Valsura to Sasoi Dam via Jamnagar City and back enthused the civilian community who cheered and encouraged the cyclists throughout the route.

Key dignitaries, including spouses and children from the district administration, also took part in the cycling expedition. Notable amongst them being the District Collector Dr Saurabh Pardhi, IAS and his wife Ragini Pardhi.
The cyclists were accorded a rousing welcome at Sasoi Dam by the villagers to commemorate “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
