Headquarters South Western Air Command (Unit) on Sunday announced that it has organized a 7.5 km Unity Run at Vayu Shaktinagar, Gandhinagar to mark the celebration of 75 years of Independence as “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”.
The event was flagged off by Air Marshal Vikram Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), South Western Air Command.
The event aimed to nurture the spirit of sports and develop a sense of camaraderie and togetherness. All personnel along with their family members participated in the event with great enthusiasm, thereby making it a grand success.
The AOC-in-C addressed all participants after completion of the run and appreciated their spirit of unity and josh. He further added that such events would truly promote the initiative of Fit India during the Amrit Mahotsav year.
