Renowned director K S Ravikumar lauded the efforts taken by the debutant director R Vijayakumar and brother of famous director Seenu Ramasamy at the trailer launch event of ‘Azhagiya Kanne, a rural romantic film.
He said that the film has sharp and humorous content. Debutant actor Leo Sivakumar’s speech shows that he was brought up by Dindigul Leoni and his wife. If he (hero) maintains this submissive attitude, he will definitely reach the heights, he added.

KS Ravikumar said that everyone, including the heroine Sanchitha Shetty, and other technicians given their best.
“I was the staunch fan of Dindigul Leoni’s speech since my school days, as he never hurt anybody even though leaders of opposition parties are sharing the same stage with him in public functions,’’ said KS Ravikumar.

Dindigul Leoni said he was the great fan of Director KS Ravikumar and sung a song from Thalaivar and Superstar Rajinikanth’s black-buster ‘Padayappa.’ He also wished his son and the movie team.
Director R Vijayakumar said he has directed this film with much difficulty and dedication even during Covid pandemic. I chose Leo Sivakumar for lead role of the film after seeing his performance in Cameo role with Makkal Selvan’s Vijay Sethupathi. He worked hard in this film and has bright future in Tamil film industry. He expressed his gratitude to the producer Esthell Entertainmennt and also the Kannan Ravi Group for releasing the film.
He also thanked Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi to extend a helping hand in giving his office and acted as Vijay Sethuathi and also Director Prabhu Solomon.
Addressing in native Tamil, actress Sanchitha Shetty said she was the great fan of Director K S Ravikumar and thanked him to wish her success. Shetty said she was given family-like comfort by the family members of Dindigul Leoni during the shooting in lush-green Theni, Usilampatti surroundings.
Actor Amudavanan, V J Andrews, actress Banu who did the role of sister to hero Sivakumar, Cinematographer Ashokumar and Rajagopal of Esthell Entertainment among others spoke.
Music by N R Raghunanthan, cinematography by Ashok Kumar and editing by Sangathamizhan. The film is set to be released in theatres on June 23 by Kannan Ravi Group.
