The sacred premises of resonated with devotion as the 125th birthday of Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj was celebrated with grandeur, bhakti, and community service on Sunday. The spiritually charged event drew over 500 devotees, transforming the temple into a vibrant centre of collective prayer and service.
The highlight of the evening was the powerful 21-time chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa, followed by a deeply moving Maha Aarti Shri Sankatmochan Mahaveer Temple, Rancharda,and Ram Name Kirtan, enveloping devotees in an atmosphere of peace and divine energy.
The celebrations began in the morning with the participation of 300 school children, who collectively recited the Hanuman Chalisa, spreading spiritual awareness among young minds. Children were also given goodie bags as blessings and encouragement.
Extending the spirit of compassion, the temple organised a blanket distribution drive for the needy, bringing warmth to many as winter sets in. Simultaneously, two Ram Roti Seva Rath vehicles served food continuously across urban areas, reinforcing the temple’s commitment to seva as a core expression of devotion.
As evening descended, devotees gathered for the traditional Baba ka Bhandara, where more than 500 individuals shared prasad in an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. The entire celebration was coordinated with dedication by devotee Kiritbhai Patel, supported by volunteers Rahul Barot, Nirav Patel, and Rushabh Shah.
Temple founding member Dr Praveen Garg said the Shri Sankatmochan Mahaveer Temple is steadily emerging as a major spiritual centre for Ram and Hanuman bhakts, drawing devotees to seek blessings from Hanumanji in his rare reclining form and from Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj. This temple is notably the fourth in India to feature Hanumanji in this unique posture.
Beyond the Jayanti celebrations, the temple continues its weekly spiritual initiatives, including the regular Sunday Sunderkand path. The Ram Roti Seva Rath remains a beacon of compassion, providing daily meals to 200–300 underprivileged individuals.
The temple extended a warm invitation to devotees and well-wishers to join its ongoing journey of bhakti, seva, and community welfare.
