Delivering a performance defined by speed, stamina and unwavering determination, Yaksh Patel, a Grade X student of Delhi Public School-Bopal, has earned a coveted place in the National Aquatic Championships after an outstanding campaign at the Gujarat State Aquatic Association Meet.
The young swimmer stamped his authority in the pool by clinching the gold medal in the 200m backstroke, the event that secured his qualification for the prestigious national meet, while adding four more medals to cap an exceptional outing.
Yaksh’s medal haul reflected remarkable versatility and consistency across multiple disciplines. Besides his gold-winning effort, he claimed silver medals in the 100m backstroke and the 4×100m freestyle relay, along with bronze medals in the 50m backstroke and the 50m butterfly.
His five-medal performance underlined not only his technical excellence but also his ability to compete successfully across individual and relay events, emerging as one of the standout performers at the state championship.
