Dark clouds rolled in and rain poured down, but nothing could drown the rhythm of Garba at Love Dandiya 2025, hosted by the HL College Alumni Association.
On Tuesday night, the lawns of HL College transformed into a vibrant dance floor where youth and alumni twirled with unshaken enthusiasm, proving that Amdavadis never let the weather dim their festive glow.

While showers forced many Garba events across the city to shut down, Love Dandiya 2025 stood out as one of the few that carried on under the open skies. The rain only heightened the energy, as drenched dancers spun in circles, clapping in sync with the beats, turning the downpour into part of the celebration itself.

“The determination of the Garba revellers was inspiring. The rain only added to the magic, making this year’s event unforgettable,” said Rajesh Ravani, President of the HL College Alumni Association.
Echoing the sentiment, organiser Ankit Chadrana added, “Love Dandiya 2025 was the one and only place where Garba continued on the open lawns with unstoppable energy. It once again showed why HL College’s Garba is one of Ahmedabad’s most awaited Navratri events.”
With the spirit of devotion and youth at its heart, the night proved that in Ahmedabad, Garba isn’t just a dance—it’s a celebration of resilience, unity, and unshakable joy.
