Extending her best wishes to children on the eve of the celebration of Children’s Day, Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi on Friday stressed the need for taking a pledge to erase child abuse from the face of the globe.
In her message, she said, “Children are not only God`s gift to parents but also to the nation. They are the base of the future of the country as they would take the country towards a new and progressive path.”
The former IPS officer said the children should be motivated and brought up as responsible future citizens.
