On the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Bharat Raksha Manch (BRM), an organisation dedicated to the country, held special events at Maninagar here on Monday. The BRM also paid rich tributes to him and remembered his unparalleled contribution to India’s freedom.
The country celebrated the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, who gave the popular slogan “Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom” during the independence struggle in a grand and befitting manner.
Maninagar MLA and the chief guest Amul Bhatt felicitated the office-bearers of Bharat Raksha Manch in recognition of their selfless dedication and contribution to the country. He also shared some interesting and inspiring anecdotes from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s life.
Laxminarayanji Sharma, the national vice president of Bharat Raksha Manch was the guest of honour. Brahm Samaj leader Navinbhai Sevak, Kabir Panth’s Mahant Tulsidasji, Arunsinh Rajput, Ilevan Thakar, President of the Gujarat unit of Bharat Raksha Manch, and Parth Pandya were among those who graced the occasion, besides other office-bearers of Bharat Raksha Manch.
The dignitaries and speakers also paid glowing tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and remembered his invaluable contribution to the freedom struggle.
Bharat Raksha Manch’s main activities are aimed at strengthening various Hindu organisations. The organisation also working to create awareness among the younger generation about great freedom fighters like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose who sacrificed their lives for the country. The Manch’s efforts are also aimed at igniting the spirit of patriotism and nationalism among the countrymen.
In his address, Nilay Bhatt spoke about the sacrifices of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and his role in the fight against British rule.
The executive committee of Bharat Raksha Manch was also formed on Monday, making it a memorable day. Dharmendrasinh Gohil, Gopal Upadhyay, and Bhagwan Jha were formally appointed as vice presidents. Shaktisinh Jadeja, the grandson of Mahipatsinh Jadeja and the son of Aniruddhsinh Jadeja was appointed as the president of the Manch’s Rajkot unit. Ramesh Bharwad, who is also known as RK, was appointed as the Ahmedabad unit president, while Nitin Rana was appointed as the president of the Surat unit.
