C.C. Sheth College of Commerce, under the Navgujarat group of colleges, observed No Meat Day on Tuesday, 25th November to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sadhu T.L. Vaswani—renowned educator, spiritual guide, and a lifelong advocate for non-violence and vegetarian living.
The observance aimed to inspire students to reflect on compassion, mindful choices, and the impact of their diet on health and the environment. Students from different classes assembled to take a collective pledge, committing to abstain from meat for the day and to promote awareness on humane, sustainable and responsible eating habits.
The oath emphasised empathy towards all living beings, eco-friendly food practices, and deeper respect for nature. By hosting such initiatives, C.C. Sheth College of Commerce continues to nurture socially conscious and ethically aware young citizens, encouraging them to adopt lifestyles that contribute positively to society and the planet.
