Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a promotional scheme to offer discount for conversion of landline & broadband customers on first fixed monthly charges for all new fibre to the home (FTTH) broadband connections, says R.Sajikumar, Principal General Manager , Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, Nagercoil Business Area on Thursday.
“At present in Kanyakumari District, BSNL is the market leader in providing fibre based Internet services.
It is worthwhile to mention here that, during the Corona Pandemic period, BSNL’s Bharat Fibre (FTTH) connections were very much helpful to the customers to work and learn from home because of its high reliability and more speed,” the statement added..
- Existing LL/BB Customers of BSNL are requested to call 04652-224100 for opting for this scheme.
- A discount of Rs 200 per bill for six months is offered to the migrating customers.
- More over Installation charges Rs 500 is also waived.
- The customers who have already disconnected or in the process of disconnecting their LL/BB connections are requested to avail FTTH services with their same number
Customers can convert their existing Land Line / Landline with Broad Band connections to Bharat Fibre connections retaining the same Land Line number. A discount of Rs 200 per bill for six months is offered to the migrating customers. More over Installation charges Rs 500 is also waived.
To avoid the disturbances in services provided through copper based LL/BB due to road widening, water pipeline and drainage works etc., carried out by various government agencies, customers may convert their services to state of the art FTTH services. The customers who have already disconnected or in the process of disconnecting their LL/BB connections are requested to avail FTTH services with their same number which is having very high reliability and meeting the every connectivity requirement of net savvy customers with aplomb.
For those Customers converting from Landline services and are in need of Voice services only can very well opt for FTTH Plan-299, where in for the first six months rental charges are discounted to Rs 99 only .
For Internet customers BSNL is having various plans starting from Plan-399, Plan-599 etc. BSNL has provided OTT services like SonyLiv, Disney-Hotstar, YUPP, VOOT, ZEE, Hotstar Premium etc for Plans starting from Plan-749. The discount of Rs 200 per bill for first six months is applicable for these plans also.
