The BSNL Nagercoil is organizing a two-day Mega Mela to popularise Bharat Fibre (FTTH) connections among the public of Nagercoil Town. The Mega Mela will be conducted near BSNL Franchisee Preethy Agencies’s office located at Chettikulam Jn to Kottar Road on Friday and Saturday – September 23 & 24.

The Principal General Manager‘s office in a press note requested the people to utilize the opportunity on both days and avail various attractive offers on FTTH connections.
- 10% discount to the PSU/ Govt staff on monthly rental
- 90% discount in the FMC (Up to a maximum of Rs 500) is offered in the first month bill for the new FTTH connection booked in the Mela.
- Free FTTH Modem for those booking for Rs 799 per month and above plans
Preethy Agency, an approved franchisee of BSNL Nagercoil has shifted their office premises from Edalakkudy to the above address, to serve the customers in a better way with refurbished showroom.

The general public and BSNL customers will appreciate the fact that during the Corona Pandemic period, BSNL’s Bharat Fibre (FTTH) connections were very much helpful to the customers to work and learn from home because of its high reliability and more speed. This is ample evident from the fact that internet savvy customers are subscribing to the Bharat Fibre connections in large numbers, the statement added.
FTTH Offers extended to the public in Mega Mela
- 10% discount to the PSU/ Govt staff on monthly rental
- 90% discount in the FMC (Up to a maximum of Rs 500) is offered in the first month bill for the new FTTH connection booked in the Mela.
- Customers can convert their existing Landline / Landline with Broad Band connections to Bharat Fibre connections (With same Landline number) and avail Rs 200 discount per bill for first six months. Moreover, get installation charge of Rs 500 is also waived .
- For those customers converting from Landline services and are in need of Voice services only can very well opt for FTTH Plan-299, where in for the first six months rental charges are discounted to Rs 99 only.
- For Internet customers, BSNL is having various plans starting from Plan-399, Plan-599 etc. BSNL has provided OTT services like SonyLiv, Disney-Hotstar, YUPP, VOOT, ZEE, Hotstar Premium etc for Plans starting from Plan-749. The discount of Rs 200 per bill for first six months is applicable for these plans also.
- Free FTTH Modem for those booking for Rs 799 per month and above plans
Offers in the Mobile Prepaid
The BSNL offers Rs 128 worth 4G SIM along with Plan-108 at a discounted cost of Rs 50 only to the new connections. Rs 269 worth ( 4G SIM + Plan-249) is given to customers at a discounted cost of Rs 100 only.
- The features of Mobile prepaid Plan -108 are U/L free voice calls to any net + 1 GB Data daily for 28 days
- The features of Mobile prepaid Plan -249 are U/L free voice calls to any net + 2 GB Data daily for 45 days .
Further, for the mobile prepaid MNP port-in customers from other operators , connections are issued completely Free of Cost viz. SIM cost Rs 20 free + Plan- 249 free at the Mega Mela place.
