Setting an inspiring tone for a new academic journey, Adani University on Monday welcomed 120 students to its MBA in Infrastructure Management Batch 2026-28, with President Dr. Priti G. Adani delivering a powerful message that placed purpose, leadership and nation-building at the heart of infrastructure education.
Addressing the incoming students during the induction programme, Dr. Priti Adani urged them to look beyond concrete structures and engineering marvels, reminding them that true infrastructure transforms societies by improving lives and creating opportunities.
“Infrastructure is much more than roads, airports, ports, energy systems or smart cities. It is about improving lives, connecting communities, strengthening the economy and contributing to nation-building.”
She encouraged students to embrace every opportunity to learn, innovate and collaborate with industry, stressing that character would remain as important as competence in shaping successful careers.
“Make the most of every opportunity to learn, collaborate and engage with industry. Integrity, compassion and a commitment to excellence will define your success as much as professional achievement.”
The two-year MBA programme has been designed to prepare professionals capable of leading India’s rapidly evolving infrastructure sector through an academic framework that combines industry-integrated learning, artificial intelligence-enabled education and immersive field exposure.
With India’s infrastructure landscape undergoing unprecedented expansion through digital transformation, renewable energy, sustainable development and smart technologies, the curriculum seeks to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practice by equipping students with practical knowledge, strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
The induction programme commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising the beginning of the students’ academic journey. Speakers highlighted the sweeping transformation taking place across the infrastructure sector and encouraged students to prepare themselves for emerging opportunities in an increasingly technology-driven and sustainability-focused economy.
The event was attended by Prof. Arun Kumar Sharma, Guest of Honour; Prof. (Dr.) Dhaval Pujara, Provost; Prof. Amish Vyas, Registrar; Prof. Sandip Solanki, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences; Prof. Baishali Mitra; Dr. Namita Pragya; faculty members, students and parents.
Reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, Adani University said it remains focused on nurturing professionals who combine technical expertise with innovation, ethical leadership and a deep sense of social responsibility, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to India’s infrastructure growth and nation-building aspirations.
