This film is a good attempt, and will definitely score brownie points in the box office.”
Director Muthaiah said, “Director Selvakumar has worked as an assistant to many filmmakers, and he easily creates a comfortable ambience with everyone he is associated with. Selvam has got a good taste for rural subjects. When he narrated the script, it was really nice and I was supposed to produce it initially. Soon after listening to the script, actor Vetri immediately accepted to be a part of the project. My best wishes and thanks to producer Thiagaraja for introducing new directors. I am glad to see that Vetri has created a fan base for his choice of scripts and performances.”
Director Meera Kathiravan said, “A filmmaker doesn’t consider himself successful until he witnesses his assistants making successful movies. So I am very happy that my assistant has done a film. My thanks to the producer. Vetri is constantly tasting success and chooses the best stories. My best wishes to him. Director Selvakumar is a very kind person who keeps in touch with me. He has told about this story. A good team has worked on it.”
Producer Thirumalai said, “I am elated to attend in an event after a long time. It’s nice to see everyone here being gifted a Thirukkural book. This evidently shows that the film has a good message. A producer needs more courage and confidence to produce such a movie, and I wish all success to producer Thiagaraja for choosing this project. Hero Vetri has ‘success’ tagged to his name, and I am sure this movie is going to be yet another feather to his cap. An industry becomes healthy when small budget content-driven movies become profitable. The year has witnessed the arrival of such filmmakers.”
Radhakrishnan, Treasurer, Tamil Film Producers Council said, “It’s glad to see that everyone is wishing this film all success. Producers must be safeguarded in film industry. Producers shouldn’t lose money at any cost. Tamil Film Producers Council is actively working towards this. Bumper’s trailer and songs are good. I wish success to producer Thiagaraja.”

Actor Vetri said, “For the first time, I have tried shaking my legs for a song in this movie. There have been criticisms that I am a part of thriller movies alone, and this movie will transform that image. The director has made this film banking his trust in the script, and it has materialized as he envisaged. Music director Govind Vasantha’s musical score has come out very well. I am confident that everyone will love this movie.”
Director Selvakumar said, “Many have been a great support in letting my dream of becoming a filmmaker come true. I thank each one of them. I thank my producer Thiagaraja sir for giving this opportunity to me. The film has shaped up very well. I thank my entire crew for making it happen. Especially, I would like to thank my producer and music director for being great pillars for this movie. This film has strong content that will convey a good message as well.”
Director K Bhagyaraj said, “Debut filmmaker Selvakumar has directed this film. It’s great to see his mentors here. I am very much impressed with the trailer which looks engrossing. These days, songs with vague lyrics have become common, but this movie has good songs. Vetri embarked on a journey as an actor by spending his money and choosing a good script. And today, he is getting acclaimed for his choice of scripts and good performances. Everyone in the movie industry including lyricists have copyrights, but it is not the case with the writers. I am confident that this situation will change soon. This film has shaped up very well. My heartiest wishes to the producers, and I request you all to support this movie.”
Vinoth Rathinasamy of Kadamayai Sei, Aalampana, and MGR Magan fame has handled cinematography and Kasi Viswanathan is in charge of editing.
