In a remarkable display of intellect, speed and teamwork, students of Prin MC Shah Commerce College clinched the first rank at the ‘Byte Hunt’ competition during Lakshya 2.0, held at LD College of Engineering, outperforming participants from over 30 colleges.
Facing stiff competition from more than 35 teams, the winning trio—Unnati Tapodhan, Harshrajsinh Solanki and Vishwa Patel—showcased exceptional analytical ability and coordination. The team navigated six rigorous preliminary rounds to enter the top five, before dominating the final stages.
The grand finale turned into a high-stakes showdown, ending in a tie that pushed both teams into a निर्णायक tiebreaker. Rising to the occasion, the MC Shah team delivered a stunning performance, completing the challenge in just 9 minutes 51 seconds, far ahead of their competitors who clocked 26 minutes 40 seconds.
Beyond Byte Hunt, the college also made its mark in the ‘Pitch the Idea’ segment, where Unnati Tapodhan and Harshrajsinh Rathod impressed judges with their creativity and presentation skills, earning widespread appreciation.
The winning team was mentored by Dr. Hetal Doshi and Dr. Beena Patel, under the guidance of Dr. N.D. Shah, whose constant support and academic leadership played a pivotal role in this achievement.
