CA Final Result: Five Ahmedabad students find place of pride in AIR 50

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the CA Final result May 2022, on Friday, July 15, 2022. Meet Anil Shah is the CA Final topper for May 2022 session. The CA topper has secured 642 marks out of 800.

Jaipur’s Akshat Goyal has been placed at the second position with 79.88 percentage and 639 marks. The third rank has been grabbed by Shrushti Keyurbhai Sanghavi from Surat with 611/800 and 76.38 percentage.

A total of 1,18,771 had appeared for the CA final exam which took place across 489 exam centres. Consequent to declaration of result 12,449 candidates qualified as chartered accountants.
Candidates can download the ICAI CA result May 2022 at icai.org. To download CA Final result May 2022, candidates will have to log in to their registered account using their PIN number and date of birth.

The CA Final pass percentage is 21.99% for group 1, and 22.94% for group 2. It is 12.59% for candidates who appeared in both groups.

Two students from the state secured ranks in the top 10. Shrushti Sanghavi from Surat had an AIR of 3 while Priyank Shah from Ahmedabad ranked 10 in the all-India result list.

Five students from Ahmedabad have secured ranks in top 50 in the CA Final exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) in May. The five students are Priyank Pushkarbhai Shah who secured AIR 10, Om Chandrakantbhai Akhani at 16th AIR, Ruchit Vakharia at 21 AIR, Dhavnil Mehul Shah at 27^th AIR and Parth Sanjaybhai Lakhatriya at 47 AIR.

Five students from Surat branch of ICAI secured All India Ranks (AIR) in the Top 50, in CA Final exams held earlier this year. The other rank holders from Surat are Arun Borana (AIR 32), Arham Parekh (AIR 37), Siddharth Saharia (AIR 40), and Rohit Siddha (AIR 42).
A total of 12,449 candidates across the country qualified as Chartered Accountants (CAs) of which 400 (3.2%) are from Ahmedabad, 138 (1.1%) from Surat and 1,200 (9.6%) are from Gujarat.

CA Bishan Shah, chairperson of the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) Ahmedabad Chapter, said, “808 students from Ahmedabad appeared in both groups with 132 clearing both of them, a pass percentage of 16.34% which is marginally higher than 15.72% pass rate in the December 2021 exam.”
