In a remarkable literary debut, ‘જંગલ સફારી થી સમૃદ્ધિ ની સફારી’ (From jungle safari to prosperity safari) enters the shelves as a pioneering work that uniquely blends wildlife storytelling with practical financial wisdom, making it one of the most distinctive releases in recent Gujarati literature.
The book, written by Chartered Accountant and Corporate Financial Advisor CA Ketan S Acharya, marks his formal entry into authorship. Thirteen years ago, he had purchased a camera to capture treasured moments during safaris across Gujarat and renowned national sanctuaries. Over the years, he diligently documented his observations—notes that eventually crystallised into this book, encouraged by his “loving princess” to share these insights for the benefit of the next generation.
Acharya says that his passion for wildlife photography also helped him shed his short temper and brought a deeper sense of balance into his life.
The book was launched on December 10, 2025, his birthday, at a vibrant gathering of family and friends. It has been published by Savitri Publications, led by Ahmedabad Literary Society Founder and author of 12 books, Shraddha Ahuja Ramani, along with her family.
Speaking at the launch, publisher Shraddha Ahuja Ramani said, “This book is a refreshing and bold experiment in Gujarati literature. Very few authors attempt to merge two worlds as different as wildlife and financial planning, and Ketan has done it with rare sensitivity and purpose. ‘જંગલ સફારી થી સમૃદ્ધિ ની સફારી’ will inspire readers to observe life more deeply and plan their future more wisely. It is not just a book — it is a new genre taking shape.”
During a live interaction, Acharya shared his heartfelt connection with wildlife and the transformation it brought to his thinking. Recalling one of his safari encounters, he said, “Once we were out for a safari. We saw a cheetah stealthily sprang upon a deer. I was asked to save the deer but it was against the nature as the cheetah would starve by our misadventure.”
Explaining the link between nature and financial discipline, he emphasised that better financial planning is the need of the hour and must be cultivated between the ages of 25 and 35.
He acknowledged the role of his life partner, family members and close friends in supporting his journey. On his next literary endeavour, he revealed, “The script is almost ready and the second book will also be published by Savitri Publications.”
CA Ketan S Acharya was honoured with the ‘Author of the Month Award’ by the Ahuja family for this distinctive and well-researched contribution.
Priced at ₹500, the book is available on leading e-commerce platforms and bookshops.
