Divisional Railway Manager of Southern Railway’s Chennai Division Ganesh on Friday administrated the Swachhta Pledge at Dr MGR Chennai Central Railway station and inaugurated the Signature campaign with other officials, supervisors and staffs to kickstart the Swachhta Pakhwada – Cleanliness Fortnight campaign.
This campaign will conclude on Gandhi Jayanthi, October 2. Various activities are being undertaken by all the Officers and staff during the fortnight drive.
A rally for awareness by the Scout and Guides of Central District of Chennai Division was displayed to Railway passengers to create awareness at Chennai Central Railway station. Banners and posters in connection with Swachhata Pakhwada campaign were also displayed in station to create awareness among the rail passengers.
Swachhata Pakhwada campaign was also conducted in all stations, depots, sheds, health units, railway colonies, Railway schools, hospitals and other offices throughout Chennai Division. Passengers were given awareness regarding cleanliness drives and they participated in signature campaign.
R Ananth ADRM I, Sachin Punetha ADRM II, S Subramanian ADRM III, Prateek Motwani, EA to DRM participated in the Swachhta Pakhwada along with all Branch Officers.
